DotCol Consulting was formed in 2000, born out of a congestion of drive and frustration. There was much to see and do on the web then, as there is now, but most of the really good stuff seemed to be in magazine advertisements rather than on screen. A great shame, it must be agreed. True, it's changed somewhat, but many designers either get carried away with the 'Flash' cartoon format or stick to the good old tried and tested ways, many appearing to shy away from breaking new, artistic ground.

So our business was born. Our aim was then, and still is now, to provide special websites for our customers, allowing them a breath of fresh air on the internet. We thought overpricing should be shot in the foot, so we've done just that. Value for money is what we believe in, combined with a certain something special that's only found once in a while.

Being a loosely based organisation, able to call on the expertise of a number of specialist colleagues as and when necessary, our overheads are lower allowing us to pass the savings on to our customers. Which, when you think about it, can't be bad.

All of us here have been involved in web design, graphic design, database design and computer programming for a number of years, and unusually for this day and age, our own ages range from the early twenties to the early forties. A mix of "kewl" & fresh ideas for both innovative & conservative web sites.
